URBAN BUSES

The Rio de Janeiro urban buses operate with turnstiles and a single tariff.

 The bus routes are distributed throughout the city to serve the population as a whole and tourists.

 Buses run to/from the main hotel areas to all neighborhoods.

The “Frescão" is a bus which differs from the other urban buses since it is equipped with

air-conditioning and reclining seats.

 The service which includes the routes to the international and domestc airports,

also affers hostess service.

The "Frescão" serves main hotel areas of the South Side, besides covering most of the urban routes.
