 Sob suas águas, se escondem tesouros lendários e maravilhas submarinas.

Incontáveis passeios esperam os visitantes e turistas da Ilha Grande: caminhadas, trackings e até escaladas.

 

 A Vila do Abraão é seu principal núcleo,

 ponto de partida para se conhecer, de barco ou a pé,enseadas e praias. 

 

Entre as atrações o Pico do Papagaio - 959 metros -

é convite para visão da Baía de Sepetiba e Baía de Reis.

 

 Transformada em Parque Estadual, possui algumas heranças históricas dignas de visita:

 as Ruínas do Antigo Lazareto datadas de 1886; o Aqueduto, construído em 1893. 

 

Algumas praias se destacam na paisagem: Praias da Júlia, Cais e Comprida são  ligadas entre si por trilhas.

 

 A Praia da Crena, totalmente deserta e situada numa planície fluvial.

 

 A Praia Lopes Mendes, voltada para o Oceano Atlântico,

com águas bravias, verdes e transparentes é boa para pesca.

 to know its bays and beaches — either by boat or on foot.

for a c/imb to its beautifu/ views of Sepetiba and Reis Bays.

 

Transformed into a state park, Ilha Grande has some historical sites that are worth a visit:

 the Ruins of Antigo Lazareto are dated from 1886, the Aqeduct was constructed in 1893.

 

Some beaches should be highlighted: Julia, Gaio, and Comprida are connected by trails.

 

The Crena beach, totallv deserted, is entirely located on a flood pIain.

 

The Lopes Mendes beach faces the Atlantic and boasts white sand and transparent

 

 though slightly rough green waves. good for flshing.

 

There’s a good hotel and tourist infrastructure and houses to rent.
